Today's Prompt

"Close your eyes and listen for that singular purr, bark, or whimper that still echoes softly within your quietest moments?"

It's been 6 months since I've lost my soul dog Tuesday. The last few days the grief has been heavy. The longer I go without her the more it hurts. I can't believe it's been this long. I know she is no longer suffering but I still can't believe she is gone.

Today as I continue on in my medical journey and appointments, I’m exhausted. I’m home now looking at Reggie’s memorial and the grief seems exhausting. I wish I could just reach through his picture to hold him one more time and have him with me. It’s not fair he isn’t with me. And I’m frustrated that on top of the appointments, on top of being exhausted, my best friend isn’t physically here to get me through. He feels so far away.

Daily Prompt

"Days seem to stretch or dissolve differently now, so in what ways has your internal clock shifted since they left?"

I am still a work in progress with this. I am still very aware of the schedule we had with Tuesday, especially walks and food. But I am sleeping in a little more since I don't have to go out right away for a morning walk. We are eating dinner at different times sometimes.

Daily Prompt

"Brighten this space by sharing a fleeting, playful moment from this week that pulled a genuine laugh from your soul?"

It’s hard to get a laugh nowadays but the times I do are welcomed. When Reggie was alive, we used to go hunting for golf balls at my bfs house bc he lives next to a golf course. Now when I’m at my bfs I’ll go for walks looking for “golf balls from boobie” (Reggie’s nickname). Long story short I was driving with my bfs mom and spotted a goofball and screamed. I made her stop in the middle of the street and was chasing down all the golf balls I could literally dig up from my boy boobie. It was the laugh I needed and I would have stayed there in that moment all day if I could

Daily Prompt

"Relive that specific, quiet afternoon when you first understood they felt completely safe resting their whole heart in your hands?"

I don't think it was one day but a series of small things. Day by day we saw her guard come down. She rested more and began to get closer to us. When we look back at pictures we can see how her eyes softened and her heart opened.

Daily Prompt

"Someone you barely knew surely offered a small, quiet act of grace when you needed it—tell us that story?"

I met Alex from our biweekly groups. She is the kindest soul I have ever met. She always offers me grace and understanding. I am thankful for our friendship and PLC for bringing us together. If you have a friend like Alex, you are blessed. She will send me a message when I am feeling overwhelmed. She checks on me to make sure I am okay. She reminds me to breathe when my emotions are heavy. Thank you, Alex, for being my friend.

Daily Prompt

"Certain shifts in the breeze or gray skies bring them back to mind, so which weather feels like their gentle embrace?"

A bright sunny day is a kiss from Tuesday. She loved laying in the sun and so when I see clear, blue skies with sun I know that's her reaching out to me. In fact, today is one of those days. It made me smile.

Daily Prompt

"Scroll through your gallery to find a snapshot that glows, then share the unfiltered story hidden behind that frozen frame?"

Reggie was my little dollie. I would dress him up in ridiculous jackets because I was always worried he would be cold. Meanwhile he was over 100 pounds of full muscle. His face says everything because this particular jacket did not fit. But we never body shame in this family!!

Milestone

Today marks 5 months without our soul dog, Tuesday. I am filled with so many emotions. The intense grief has waned and now I’m left with loving memories and sadness. Although I’ve accepted what happened there are many days I’m still in shock that you are no longer here. You brought the purest love and happiness to our home and filled a void in our hearts. You are one of the happiest chapters in our life. You were independent, curious, and loving. You loved lounging in the sun and smelling the plants and flowers. If there was a blanket on the couch, it was yours. You were always between me and your daddy on the couch and in the bed. You loved a car ride, nestled on your daddy’s lap. There wasn’t a snack or meal that you would say no to. Our angel. I will love you forever. Thank you for curling up into my heart, where you will be forever. Love you always my Tuesday. ❤️‍🩹🌈🐾

Daily Prompt

"Recalling those silly little things that once startled them, which particular fright now feels like a gentle, tender heartbeat?"

Henry was afraid of June bugs. Now when I see one, it makes my heart happy and I smile.

I miss my boy. Lately I haven’t been “feeling “ him. I haven’t been seeing signs. I don’t know if it’s because I’m so caught up in work, my daily stress but I don’t feel him these last couple days and he feels so far. I miss him and it feels so long ago, like years that he’s passed when in reality it’s been 8 months.

Daily Prompt

"Redefining home feels like an evolving journey, so where does your sense of belonging rest now that your space is quieter?"

That’s a hard one. I’m realizing that “home” is wherever I make it, it wasn’t the physical place of Reggie and my house but the spiritual places I take his memory with me. Home now is where I honor him everyday , in my work by showing up, by being present with my nephew, by being a good friend. It’s hard though because I physically want to be in our home surrounded by the memories and his essence if that makes sense.

Miss you so much gorgeous girl hope you & Hugo are having loads of fun together up there 💔🐾🌈❤️‍🩹

Hi Is there actual support for this Club/App, as I haven't been able to find a contact area or address? I'm trying to upgrade and it keeps directing me to the App. I'm accessing these pages on a laptop, and the App apparently isn't downloadable on my laptop. I cannot download to my phone because I am disabled and won't be able to see the pages on there. Can someone advise why we need to download a phone App just to be able to upgrade please.

Daily Prompt

"Notice the empty patches of sunlight on your floor where they once napped and describe the lingering silence left behind"

I love this prompt and it matches a thought I had this morning about my girl Tuesday. She loved to nap in the patches of sunlight on the floor in front of our balcony door. As I looked at them this morning, I imagined this is what she would look like in Heaven. Napping peacefully in the sun, no pain, no cancer, no fear. It gave me peace but it also felt like a hole in my heart. When I see the sun in the window I always think of her and that hole feels empty.

Daily Prompt

"Friends sometimes struggle to grasp this bond, so try describing the depth of your soul connection in your own unique language?"

I love this question. Reggie was my road dog, he was “my partner in crime” (not literally) spiritually. He knew what I needed, what I was thinking before I asked of him. It felt like we had been through a million lifetimes together in the 14 years we had shared. I think that’s why the grief is so hard. I’m trying to learn to honor our soul connection in a spiritual way and not in a physical way anymore. Reggie was down for any mischievous, any wild adventures as long as he was with me, his momma ❤️

Daily Prompt

"Pets seem to understand patience in ways people never quite master—what did your companion teach you about stillness?"

Reggie taught me to breathe, feel the wind and really be present (or try to be) every moment when we would sit in the grass. That was his favorite!

Hi everyone, Was just hoping for some advice or tips or just a friendly shoulder. I know we spoke a little about this in group the other night but does anyone have any advice for getting back into taking care of yourself after losing your soul pet? I find that I rush home from work just to watch tv in my room with Reggie’s memorial to talk to him or take care of my bf and his dog , I forget and get anxious sometimes on things I need to do nd would like to do for myself 😊

Gratitude

Really nice seminar with Rachel Babineau today. I am a crafty person usually, but this really encouraged me to do something for Maya. I don't know what's been holding me back, but it was nice to step out of it and make something meaningful. Thank you. 🩷💜

Good morning from my part of the world. We are almost 4 months since losing Tuesday. My grief has transformed over time but right now I feel like it's so present. Every morning I wake up and I am so aware of Tuesday's absence. Every part of my apartment, I see and feel her. I have memories for so many things. It feels good and so painful. I miss her so much.

Right before Tuesday left for the rainbow bridge I looked at her and told her it’s ok, I love her. I felt the peace in her eyes, she knew she was safe and loved with me and daddy holding her. It was heartbreaking yet loving moment.

It’s funny that this came up today. I am currently dog sitting and I love all animals so it’s a joy. Plus the extra money helps. But the guilt mixed in with the grief makes my body tense and I get overwhelmed. I feel guilty petting the dogs or taking care of them. Of course I do with love I’m just saying and wondering in a weird way, is Reggie ok while I’m here dog sitting? If that makes sense.

It’s been 11 days without my baby. I am so heartbroken. He is in everything I do. My mind still thinks he’s here. For example today I was going to throw away the trash and that was one of his favorite activities! As I was going to open the door I automatically stopped to invite him to come with me. I don’t know how to live without you my baby Lucca

I wanted to ask, see if anyone was going through or had gone through something similar. I go to work and rush home longing to be home just to be in that same space I one shared with Reggie. Somedays I’m fine but when traffic is bad or the days are long I get bad anxiety. Has anyone ever had similar feelings? It’s hard to explain but I appreciate any feedback 😊

Hayley was very afraid of fireworks. Every year the fear got stronger due to the increase of fireworks used each year. I will miss cuddling with her and reassuring her that she is safe. It is hard to believe we are getting ready for the month of July. Soon it will be October and our first year anniversary of being physically apart.

Donuts. A simple, yet delicious snack! When I would go to work at a past job I had an obsession of stopping at Dunkin’ Donuts, so the days he would go with me he just HAD to have a donut hole!! When making the hard decision to proceed with helping him not have any pain anymore I knew right away what sweet treat he needed. Boy was I right because he had the biggest smile on his face and SNATCHED those donuts out of my hand before I changed my mind about him having it. He was the best boy and deserved the world and as MANY donuts as he wanted ❤️‍🩹🥹

I miss my boy deeply right now. For some reason the grief is hitting harder this second. This moment. I hope he knows I’m thinking of him ❤️. Ps this is not Reggie’s bed or his shoe my goofy lovable bubs!

Samira would almost always actually smile, when going to the vet. She knew the vet and the nurses would be bombarding her with snacks as soon as she was done "on the table". I loved seeing her so happy. She was like this with so many small things and would bring a smile to my face with her happiness and positivity every single day.

It still feels so unreal :(

Some bonds don't need explanations🐾❤️😘

Every day, I spend a few moments remembering one happy memory from our time together. Sometimes I smile at something funny they used to do; sometimes I simply sit in silence. Before I leave, I gently touch the frame and say goodnight, just as I did when they were still here. As I make this gesture each day, a mix of feelings emerges. There is sadness, because I miss their presence and the routines we shared. There is also gratitude for the years of companionship, comfort, and unconditional affection they gave me. Some days I'm in tears. The ritual creates a quiet space where love, grief, and appreciation can exist together, reminding me that although my baby is gone, the impact they had on my life remains part of me every day.

I lost my baby boy on May 7, one day before his 16th birthday. We spent the last three years taking him to the best veterinary specialists possible to keep him healthy, and he was. Suddenly and completely out of nowhere, he got sick. We took him to the clinic, where he spent an entire week. I stopped going to work, and my wife stayed there 24/7. In the end, the neurologist gave us the worst possible news: he was basically gone, and we needed to make the decision. Part of me still believes he is somewhere and that somebody will bring him back one of these days. It was not until his ashes arrived home that I truly realized he was gone. This is me, speaking for the first time about his departure. I have another dog and a cat, and they are both sad, looking for him around the house. My wife is devastated, and I have to remain strong for all of them.

My grief is heavy today for my mom and my pup Tuesday. Their losses are so intertwined. I am crying for them this morning and feel deep sorrow at their losses.

Just one of Reggie’s “bubs” favorite items was my sneaker! He thought it was his binky and would carry around the house and sleep with it! He had a favorite pair he loved and when he was passing, I gave him one of the sneakers in the pair and I still have the other in his memory box. It’s just part of the little things 💕

I miss my good boy Chuy so much. The house is so different without him.

Ebby’s favourite toy was always lamb chop. I’d buy a bunch of them at a time and replace it when she destroyed it. Ebby used to always want to bring her toys outside and we would play tug of war to keep them in the house. She always won. After the snow melted I found one of her lamb chops outside. I keep it with her ashes.

I lost my soul cat Doodle a couple of days ago. He was with me for 19 years. Every day. Every win. Every loss. Every life event. I miss him so deep in my soul. He was paralyzed so he came with us everywhere since we had to express him and offer more hands on care. On vacations, to family events, just on car rides. He was a true adventure cat. The worst part is that I knew where he was every moment of every day for 19 years. And now.. I don't know where he is. It feels like a piece of me is just missing. We like to say he's out exploring the galaxies and will report back when he has something amazing to share. But I miss him so.

I never thought I would be writing this but does the grief ever get easier? It’s been 4 months since my Reggie passed and it feels like the days get heavier and the emotions get harder. I’m so grateful I found this group!

I lost my girl 2 days ago and she was and always will be my daughter. She was 13 and I had her for 10 years and now I’m lost and I don’t want do live without her. Just the thought of never seeing her again, hugging her again, kissing her again is soul crushing. I’m hoping that I go soon and meet her again!

A little update for our premium members 🤍 I’ve added a new Premium Member Lounge inside TPLC — a quieter, more personal space where members can connect with each other, share openly, and receive deeper ongoing support between events. Sometimes the hardest part of grief is feeling alone in it. My hope is that this space becomes somewhere you can check in on hard days, celebrate memories, talk about the complicated parts of loss, or simply be around people who truly understand the human-animal bond. You don’t have to carry this alone. The lounge is now open inside the club ✨

Henry was deaf and didn’t make sounds, I am unsure why. He did snore though. It makes me smile with this happy memory. I feel it in my heart and face. ♥️

Happy Mother’s Day! ♥️💐

Gratitude

Happy Mother’s Day to all the fur moms. Tuesday being your mommy was the highlight of my life. Thank you.

I think Tuesday was afraid to be alone. With us she learned she was safe. She was able to spend time in the house alone while we ran errands. We were so proud of her.

My baby toky… I have so many funny memories with you. And they’re all my favorite. You were so cheeky with your serious cutie face.
