6 Things We Miss: An Art Exercise for Remembering the Little Things
Grief often lives in the little things. The familiar sounds. The routines. The quirks that were uniquely theirs. The tiny details of everyday life that we never imagined we would miss so much. Join author, illustrator, and therapeutic arts practitioner Stephanie Chinn for 6 Things We Miss, a gentle, interactive art exercise exploring six things you miss about your beloved pet. Stephanie first facilitated this exercise in her pet grief workshops, where it deeply resonated with participants. The exercise later inspired a page in her book, The Spaces They Leave. Together, we’ll slow down and make space for the little details that made your relationship yours, creating something that honours the life and love you shared. What to bring: Something to draw with and something to draw on. No art experience is needed — this is about remembering and expressing, not creating something perfect.
