Finding Purpose After Pet Loss with Judith Eve Rosen, LCSW
When we lose a pet, we don’t just lose them — we can also lose a piece of our daily rhythm and our sense of who we are. The mornings built around their needs. The identity of being a pet parent that shaped so much of how we moved through the world. That loss can leave us wondering: Who am I now, and what do I do with all this love that is still here? Join veterinary social worker and pet-loss specialist Judith Eve Rosen, LCSW, for an interactive workshop exploring those questions and what finding purpose after pet loss can look like. Together, we’ll explore: Holding Onto Who You Are Being a pet parent doesn’t end when your pet’s life does. We’ll talk about how to carry that identity forward, even in their physical absence. Loving Them Through Action Your bond didn’t disappear — it simply needs a new way to live. We’ll explore meaningful ways to honour your pet and continue expressing the love and connection you share. Letting Your Values Lead You Forward Grief can bring what matters most into sharper focus. Together, we’ll identify your core values and explore how they can act as a compass for finding purpose, activities, and goals that feel meaningful to you. This is an interactive workshop, so bring a pen and paper. There will be opportunities to pause, reflect, and participate throughout the session. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as feels comfortable. Come exactly as you are.

When It’s Time to Say Goodbye with Dr. John Murray
Making the decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet can bring so many difficult questions: How will I know when it’s time? Am I making the decision too soon? Are they suffering? What will happen during the appointment? And how do I cope with the guilt and uncertainty that can follow? Join Jayde Kroeker, BSW RSW, Certified Pet Loss Specialist and founder of The Pet Loss Club, and Dr. John Murray of Dr. Murray Hospice Vet, a veterinarian specializing in compassionate in-home end-of-life care, for a gentle and honest conversation about navigating pet euthanasia from both a grief-support and veterinary perspective. Together, we’ll explore quality of life, the fear of “too soon” or “too late,” preparing for the appointment, what actually happens during euthanasia, what your pet may experience, aftercare, and the difficult emotions that can come before and after saying goodbye. This live conversation will expand on The Pet Loss Club × Dr. Murray Hospice Vet’s upcoming guide to navigating pet euthanasia, with time at the end for a Q&A where you can ask your own questions.

October Candle Light Memorial
Join us for a gentle evening of remembrance as we honour the pets we love and miss. During this live virtual memorial, I’ll share photos and tributes submitted by members of The Pet Loss Club and light candles in memory of the pets who have left such a lasting mark on our lives. You’re welcome to submit your pet’s photo and a short tribute to be included in the memorial. I receive many beautiful submissions and do my best to include as many pets as possible, but I’m not always able to light a candle for every submission during the live event. Premium members receive priority for candle lighting and tribute sharing. Whether your pet is featured during the memorial or you simply join us to remember them quietly, you are welcome here. This is a space to pause, say their name, honour the life you shared, and be surrounded by people who understand how deeply a pet can be loved and missed.
